Three Go Roam in 2026: daily charges, passes and a travel eSIM

Three UK charges a daily fee to Go Roam in Europe on most plans, with passes from £5 for 3 days and a 12 GB fair use limit. See when a travel eSIM is cheaper.

Three UK charges a daily fee to use your plan in its Go Roam Europe destinations on most plans, and a higher daily fee in Go Roam Around the World destinations. Passes cost less per day: £5 for 3 days or £12 for 7 days in Europe. Fair use in Europe is 12 GB a month. A travel eSIM costs one upfront price for the whole trip, and your Three number keeps working for calls and texts.

How Go Roam works

Europe passes: £5 for 3 days, £12 for 7 days, £24 for 14 days.

Around the World passes: £12.50 for 3 days, £30 for 7 days, £60 for 14 days.

Fair use: 12 GB of data a month in Europe. Past that, Three charges extra.

Not covered: some countries are outside Go Roam and charged per MB. Check Three's list.

What a trip costs

One week in Greece: £12 on a pass.

Two weeks in the US: £60 on a pass.

Heavy use in Europe: the 12 GB limit is easy to reach with video calls or hotspot use.

A Europe eSIM with more data, or a plan for the US, often costs less than Three's passes on longer trips.

How to switch to a travel eSIM

Check that your phone is unlocked and supports eSIM on our supported devices page.

Buy a plan for your destination and install it at home on Wi-Fi. It takes about two minutes.

When you land, turn on the travel eSIM, choose it for mobile data and turn on data roaming for it.

Keep your Three line on for calls and texts, with its data roaming off, so no pass or daily charge starts.

Bottom line

For a short trip with light use, a Go Roam pass is simple. For longer trips, heavy data use or places outside Go Roam, a travel eSIM usually costs less. Find a plan for your destination.
