Terms and Conditions
Terms for ViraSIM travel eSIM purchases, accounts and services, including the 14-day refund policy for unactivated, unused eSIMs.
Effective date: October 15, 2026
1. Agreement and operator
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the ViraSIM website, mobile applications, and related services, and purchases made from ViraSIM. ViraSIM is operated by Marketania LLC ("ViraSIM," "we," "us," or "our"). "You" means the person using the service or placing an order and, where applicable, the organization that person is authorized to represent.
By affirmatively accepting these Terms when creating an account or placing an order, you agree to them. The plan details and additional terms presented before purchase form part of the order. Our Refund Policy includes a 14-day refund window for unactivated, unused eSIMs. Our Privacy Policy explains personal-information processing; accepting these Terms is not blanket consent to optional marketing or every use of personal information.
Applicable mandatory law takes priority. A separately signed enterprise agreement takes priority for matters it expressly addresses. Specific order terms take priority over a conflicting general description. Material restrictions must be disclosed before purchase; an undisclosed supplier term does not reduce your statutory rights.
2. Eligibility and account security
You must be legally able to enter a binding agreement to create a purchasing account or place an order. You may buy a plan for someone else; if you do, explain the applicable conditions to them. Business purchasers must have authority to bind their organization.
Provide accurate account and order information and keep your contact details current. Available sign-in methods may include email or phone verification, a password, or a supported third-party sign-in provider. Protect your account, login links, passwords, one-time codes, and eSIM installation details. Notify hello@virasim.com promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
You are responsible for activity you authorize and for reasonable security precautions within your control. These Terms do not automatically make you responsible for every unauthorized transaction or waive protections provided by law or your payment provider.
3. Our role and service availability
ViraSIM sells and supports prepaid eSIM connectivity plans supplied through third-party providers, including Airalo, and their mobile network partners. We do not own or control every network used to deliver connectivity. We remain responsible for our obligations as the seller of your ViraSIM purchase.
The available countries, regions, providers, networks, plans, currencies, languages, and account features may vary. Optional features apply only when offered to you. A feature described in an application or help page does not establish that every plan supports it. We may change future offerings without changing your existing contractual rights.
4. Plan information and device requirements
Before paying, review the plan's covered destinations, data allowance, validity period, activation trigger, activation deadline, supported networks, any included voice or text allowance, hotspot availability, and fair-use or speed restrictions. "Regional" and "global" describe only the destinations expressly listed for the plan, not universal coverage.
You need an unlocked, eSIM-compatible device that supports the relevant networks and frequencies. Compatibility can depend on the exact device model, market of manufacture, carrier restrictions, and software. You are responsible for checking these requirements before purchase, but this does not excuse incorrect compatibility advice or material misdescriptions provided by us.
An internet connection may be needed to download and install an eSIM. Follow the supplied installation instructions, including applicable APN, network-selection, and data-roaming settings. Make sure you understand which SIM your device uses for data, calls, and messages. Your existing carrier may charge separately for services on your primary SIM.
5. Delivery, installation, activation, and expiry
Following successful payment and any required checks, we provide the eSIM or installation instructions electronically through an available account, email, or application channel. Payment authorization alone does not establish that provisioning succeeded. Contact support if an order is paid but not delivered within the period stated at checkout.
The validity period begins according to the purchased plan's disclosed activation rule. Depending on the plan, that may be installation, connection to a supported network, or another stated event. Installing early can therefore start some plans early. Observe any separate activation deadline.
An eSIM may be installable only once or usable only on the device on which it is installed. Do not delete it, reset the device, or attempt to transfer it without checking the instructions. Unused allowance generally expires at the disclosed end of validity and does not roll over unless expressly stated. These conditions remain subject to the Refund Policy and to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
6. Connectivity, speeds, and intended use
Coverage and speeds depend on local networks, device compatibility, location, congestion, maintenance, and other conditions. Listed network technologies do not guarantee a particular speed everywhere. "Unlimited" plans may include a high-speed allowance, throttling, a daily reset, or other fair-use conditions, but any material restriction must be disclosed before purchase.
Plans are data-only unless the order expressly includes voice or text services. Internet-based calling applications use data and may have their own conditions. Do not rely on ViraSIM as your sole means of contacting emergency services or maintaining safety-critical connectivity; maintain an appropriate alternative.
Usage counters and low-data or expiry notifications depend on information received from providers and can be delayed. They are informational tools, not a guarantee of instantaneous measurement or timely notification. We will investigate disputed usage rather than treating a dashboard value as conclusive despite contrary evidence.
7. Prices, currencies, payments, and top-ups
The final amount and currency, including applicable taxes and any separately charged fees, are shown before you confirm payment. Prices for future purchases may change. Your bank may apply its own conversion rate or fees. Payment is processed through the options actually offered at checkout, subject to their applicable terms.
Unless you expressly enroll in a separately disclosed recurring arrangement, a purchase is prepaid and one-time: it does not authorize recurring charges. An authorized top-up or additional order is a new purchase. We will not add a recurring payment obligation merely by updating these Terms.
A top-up is available only for eligible eSIMs and may have its own activation and expiry conditions. Buying a top-up does not necessarily extend the original plan, restore an expired profile, or immediately replace an active allowance. The top-up description controls.
We may decline a transaction for a reasonable fraud, payment, sanctions, or eligibility concern. If we cannot supply an order after payment, we will offer an appropriate replacement or refund, subject to applicable law and the Refund Policy.
8. Identity verification and restricted destinations
Some plans or destinations may require identity or other eligibility verification before service can be supplied. We will identify applicable requirements before purchase when known and collect only information reasonably necessary and legally permitted for that purpose. Use the designated secure submission method rather than emailing identity documents unless specifically instructed through an appropriate secure process.
Provide authentic information and documents. Service may be delayed or unavailable if legally required verification cannot be completed. We will explain the effect on your order and any available remedy. This section applies subject to applicable law.
9. Refunds and cancellations
You may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of purchase if your eSIM remains unactivated and completely unused when you request the refund. Delivery of a QR code or installation alone does not remove this entitlement. Some plans activate when installed, so check the activation rule in your plan details.
Activated or used eSIMs, consumed top-ups, expired allowances and gift cards are outside this unused-eSIM change-of-mind policy. If a fault by ViraSIM or its supplier prevents you from using a plan, contact us promptly. We will troubleshoot and review a replacement or refund, including the unused portion where appropriate. Duplicate, incorrect or unauthorized charges are investigated separately; mandatory consumer rights remain protected.
Approved refunds return to the original payment method. A portion paid with a gift card or referral credit returns to that original form where applicable. You do not have to accept promotional credit instead of a money refund. Bank and payment-provider processing times vary; we confirm when a refund is issued. Supplier reimbursement arrangements do not remove your rights against ViraSIM.
Request a refund through Support in the ViraSIM app or website, or email hello@virasim.com with your order reference. Do not activate or use the eSIM after requesting a refund. We verify activation and usage with the supplier before cancelling the eSIM and processing the refund. This policy applies to purchases in both the app and website, does not limit mandatory legal rights, and does not ask you to waive cancellation or refund rights simply by accepting digital delivery.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including statutory payment-dispute rights. Please contact us before disputing a charge so that we can help.
10. Referrals, promotions, gift cards, and gifts
Where offered, referral rewards, vouchers, discounts, and promotional credits are subject to the eligibility, redemption, combination, and expiry conditions displayed with the offer. Promotional value is not purchased money and is not redeemable for cash unless law requires otherwise. We may reverse a reward arising from a reversed or disputed payment, duplicate account, self-referral, fraud, or another objectively established breach of the disclosed offer rules.
Purchased gift-card value is distinct from free promotional credit. We will honor applicable gift-card validity, fee, redemption, and unclaimed-property requirements. We will not retroactively impose an unlawful expiry or confiscate purchased value merely by changing a promotion.
When sending an eSIM or gift card to someone else, provide accurate recipient information and only information you are authorized to share. A gift does not override device-compatibility or installation restrictions. Before installation, an intended recipient may redeem an eligible gift as instructed. An installed eSIM may not be transferable.
11. Acceptable use
Do not use the service for unlawful activity, fraud, unauthorized access, interference with networks, distribution of malware, or abuse of support or payment systems. Do not impersonate another person, submit forged verification documents, expose another person's eSIM credentials, or bypass a plan's lawful technical limits.
Do not commercially resell, redistribute, or operate a SIM farm using our plans without express authorization. Personal hotspot use is permitted only where the purchased plan allows it. Do not copy or exploit our software or content beyond permitted use, except to the extent applicable law allows an activity despite a contractual restriction.
These restrictions do not prohibit truthful reviews, lawful complaints, protected security research, or exercising consumer or payment-dispute rights.
12. Support, reviews, and submitted content
Contact hello@virasim.com or use an available in-service support channel. Provide accurate information and keep sensitive credentials out of ordinary support messages. Unless a separate agreement says otherwise, support availability does not create a guaranteed response time or network-restoration commitment.
For content you choose to submit for public display, such as a review, you grant us a nonexclusive permission to host, format, and display it for the purpose for which you submitted it. You retain ownership. This permission does not apply to private support attachments or verification documents and does not authorize their use in advertising. We may remove unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or privacy-invasive content using reasonable moderation standards.
13. Business and bulk accounts
Where offered, enterprise features may allow an authorized administrator to buy or allocate plans, manage orders, and view information relevant to an organization's purchases. The organization must inform its users about that administration and obtain any necessary authority. Separate business terms may govern quotes, bulk pricing, invoicing, or service commitments. They do not remove rights a user has under applicable privacy law.
14. Suspension and termination
We may restrict an account or service when reasonably necessary to address fraud, a material breach, a legal obligation, nonpayment, or a substantial security or network risk. Measures will be proportionate to the concern where practicable. We will provide notice and an explanation unless prohibited by law or doing so would compromise a legitimate investigation or urgent security response.
Contact hello@virasim.com to contest a restriction. Account closure does not automatically erase all lawfully retained records. Termination does not permit unlawful forfeiture of purchased value or excuse service obligations that survive termination.
15. Intellectual property and third-party services
ViraSIM's branding, software, layouts, and original content are owned by or licensed to Marketania LLC. Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, nonexclusive right to use the service for its intended personal or authorized internal business purpose. No ownership of the platform or provider technology is transferred to you.
Third-party payment, sign-in, network, and app-store services may have their own terms and privacy notices. Those terms apply to the relevant third-party relationship; they do not silently replace our contract with you or remove rights you have against us. We are not responsible for unrelated third-party websites merely because we link to them.
16. Warranties and limitations of liability
We will provide the service with the care and quality required by applicable law and the description agreed at purchase. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant uninterrupted access, a specific speed not expressly promised, or suitability for an undisclosed special purpose. No disclaimer excludes a mandatory warranty or consumer guarantee.
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable to the other for remote or unforeseeable losses. For business purchasers, we also exclude indirect or consequential losses and loss of anticipated profit, business opportunity, or goodwill, to the extent permitted by law.
Subject to the exceptions below, ViraSIM's aggregate liability arising from a claim or related claims is limited to the greater of USD 100 or the amount you paid ViraSIM for the affected services in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
These exclusions and limits do not apply to fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. They do not reduce a remedy that mandatory law requires. Where local consumer law gives you a broader recovery, that law controls.
17. Events outside reasonable control
We are not responsible for delay caused by events genuinely outside our reasonable control to the extent the law permits that limitation. We will take reasonable steps to reduce the impact. Network failures, emergencies, or government restrictions do not remove remedies that mandatory law provides for services not supplied as agreed.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Maryland law, without applying conflict-of-law rules that would defeat a mandatory consumer protection. As a consumer, you retain nonwaivable protections of the law of your usual residence and any right to bring proceedings in a court that local law makes available to you.
Please first contact hello@virasim.com with your concern so we can try to resolve it. Doing so is not a mandatory barrier to a legal claim, regulatory complaint, or payment dispute. Subject to mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules, courts with jurisdiction in Maryland may hear disputes under these Terms. These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or a class-action waiver.
19. Changes, notices, and general provisions
We may update these Terms for future transactions and notify you of material changes affecting ongoing use through a reasonable channel. The version accepted for an existing purchase continues to govern that purchase unless a lawful change is agreed. We will obtain new consent where law requires it; continued use is not a substitute for legally required consent.
Order confirmations and service notices may be provided electronically using your account or supplied contact details. Keep a copy of the terms and order information. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues to apply, and no replacement provision may strip a mandatory right. A failure to enforce a provision is not a general waiver.
We may transfer this agreement as part of a genuine business transfer only subject to applicable law and without reducing your existing rights. Contact details appear below.
