What is an eSIM?

An eSIM is a built-in digital SIM that lets you activate a mobile data plan without a physical card. Just choose a plan, scan a QR code, and connect when you travel.

How do I install an eSIM?

After purchase, you'll receive a QR code by email. Open your phone's settings, choose Add eSIM, and scan the code.

Do I need a compatible device?

Yes, your phone must support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked. Check the supported devices list before you buy.

Can I use data, calls, and SMS?

Most of our plans include data only. Some destinations offer plans with calls and SMS; check the plan details to see what's included.

Will my physical SIM card stop working?

No. Your physical SIM keeps working, and you can switch between it and the eSIM in your phone settings.

Can I get a refund?

You may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of purchase if your eSIM remains unactivated and completely unused when you request the refund. Delivery of a QR code or installation alone does not remove this entitlement. Some plans activate when installed, so check the activation rule in your plan details. Request a refund through Support in the ViraSIM app or website, or email hello@virasim.com with your order reference.
